A new partnership of Havens

We’re delighted to announce a new collaboration between Haven Knox‑Johnston and Yacht Havens — a partnership that brings together two long‑established marine brands with a shared passion for boating and outstanding customer service.

By working closely together, we’ll be providing berth holders and marine trade tenants across all nine Yacht Havens marinas with access to our boat and marine trade insurance. The result is highly competitive, great‑value cover designed specifically to meet the needs of boat owners and marine businesses.

Both Haven Knox‑Johnston and Yacht Havens have deep family roots in the marine industry and decades of experience supporting boaters. Our own story stretches back to 1978, when Sir Robin Knox‑Johnston played a key role in transforming the inner basin of Troon into the marina it is today. That shared heritage, combined with a genuine enthusiasm for boating, makes this collaboration a natural fit.

As part of strengthening this relationship even further, our Haven Knox‑Johnston Specialist branch in Plymouth relocated to Yacht Haven Quay, Plymouth in January 2026. This move will allow us to offer even closer, on‑the‑ground support to berth holders and marine businesses in the region, backed by specialist knowledge and local expertise.

Berth holders introduced to us through a Yacht Haven marina will automatically benefit from a 10% discount on their policy, with an additional 10% discount available for UK marina berth holders. Our clients also enjoy direct access to underwriters for fast, informed decisions, along with a highly regarded claims service should the unexpected happen.
