Make Buddy a happy penguin on World Penguin Day and draw a buddy for Buddy.

Being the shy and retiring type that he is, you might not be surprised to know that Buddy, your favourite penguin, and many other penguin species, have their very own World Penguin Day on 25th April 2023. To help celebrate this very grand occasion, we launched a kid’s drawing competition to help Buddy… well, find a buddy

How it works

This competition is open to young people of all abilities, aged 15 and under.

We have 3 age categories available to enter:

Age 7 and under
Age 8 – 11
Age 12 – 15

The top 3 drawings, in each age category, will be selected by a panel of judges from Haven Knox-Johnston, led by Buddy McWaddle and shared on our social media platforms.

A winner from each age category will be selected, and their winning entries will be featured on our website. The winner in each age category will receive a framed picture of their buddy to show off to all their buddies and a £20 Amazon voucher.

To help them get creative, we have put together a handy frame for their picture but please don’t feel they have to use it, you can let their imaginations run all the way to the South Pole.

To enter, a parent/guardian must snap a digital image (PDF or photo) of the entrants drawing and send it to marketing@havenkj.com with the entrant’s full name and age along with the parent/guardian’s full name and address details.
