Dates and Venue

The show runs for a full 10 days, so mark your calendars for September 15th to 24th, 2023 and grab your beach towels. The event will take place at Mayflower Park in Southampton, Hampshire, SO15 1AG. With doors opening at 10:00 AM, you can spend the day drifting through the many incredible exhibits, listening to live music, trying your hand at the watersports adventures or even testing your skill against an Olympian.

The Beach Haven & Watersports Lake

Did we mention that we are more than a little excited to bring you our flagship event; The Beach Haven & Watersports Lake? Alongside our sister brands Haven Knox-Johnston Commercial and Haven Knox-Johnston Specialist we are having a beach day, every day (well, until the show closes).! Whether you are a serious boat buyer, a watersports enthusiast or just a family enjoying a day out we invite you to meet us on the beach, and try out a whole host of fun activities, from sandcastle building to beach games and competitions, or bring a picnic and chill out in our deck chairs with a free ice-cream.

Like any good British seaside, we can’t guarantee the weather, but you can be sure of a warm crew welcome and a fantastic opportunity to try out some of our watersports experiences. The Watersports Lake will have Olympian canoe races, paddleboards, sunset yoga sessions and a fun packed itinerary for everyone to get involved. Don’t race home for the rugby, enjoy all the action on our big screens with two mighty clashes from the Rugby World Cup. (Saturday 16 September (16.45) watch Wales take on Portugal, Saturday 23 September (16.45) watch as England takes on Chile). With food outlets, a bar and ample seating, it’s a great place to spend your time in-between your action-packed visit to the show.

Explore Dinghies and Classic Boats

Across the show, don’t forget to visit the other attractions. The Dinghy Zone is your hub for sport and sailing dinghies, cruisers, boat builders, and more. This area is perfect if you are interested in getting onboard to learn sailing or for discovering your next dinghy upgrade. It will showcase boats of all shapes and sizes, from beginner-friendly options to cutting-edge racing vessels. Plus, get hands-on experience with knot-tying and traditional boat-building skills. And don’t miss the Classic Day Boat Zone, where nostalgia and craftsmanship are the order of the day. Learn about boat building and even meet one of the stars of “Swallow and Amazons.”
