The UK’s biggest inland waterways festival

Narrowboat Insurance

What is it?

The Crick Boat Show is the largest inland waterways festival in the United Kingdom. It takes place at Crick Marina on the Grand Union Canal near Daventry in Northamptonshire every year over the late May Bank Holiday weekend.

The Show has the greatest display of new inland boats, both narrowboats and wide beams, and it transforms into Britain’s largest chandlery for three days when over 260 exhibitors bring together the whole spectrum of inland boating equipment and supplies.

The inaugural Crick Boat Show took place in 2000, and it has since become a popular destination for waterways enthusiasts wishing to modify or upgrade their boat, newcomers eager to get afloat for the first time, and those looking for a relaxing day on the water.

The show is organised by Waterways World magazine in collaboration with the Canal & River Trust and Crick Marina.

PROUD SPONSORS OF ‘FAVOURITE BOAT IN SHOW’

This year the Haven KJ crew will continue with the fabulous sponsorship of “Favourite Boat in Show” where all visitors can visit our stand, located in the marina, and vote for their favourite boat.  The Favourite Boat in Show is a tradition of Crick Boat Show and can attract 1,000’s of votes.  We will be awarding two trophies – one for themost admired narrowboat; and one fo rthe most admired wide-beam.

MEET THE STARS OF COAST TO CANAL

We have our special buddies, Fran and Rich, stars of our video series, Coast to Canal coming to join on our stand at the Crick Boat Show.  Fran and Rich are well known within the inland boating community for their youtube channel Floating our Boat. They will be on our stand ready to meet with our visitors and speak about their life afloat.

Please do come and say hello and while you are passing you can (literally) post a question for them for our upcoming live webinar and in-depth interview – COMING SOON!

When is the next one?

Crick Boat Show 2023 Show will take place over the Bank Holiday of  Friday 26th May to Monday 29th May.

Friday 26th May will be Preview Day when all boats and Quayside stands (and much of the Show Village and Boating Marquee) will be open to trade visitors and to Preview Day ticket holders. Trade ticket applications will open in December 2022.
